# Woofka Privacy Policy

Effective: August 28, 2026

Woofka is a walking companion: a pixel corgi that walks when you walk. It is built so that
your data stays yours — there are no accounts, no server of ours, and nothing to sign up
for.

## Health and movement data

With your permission, Woofka reads your step count, walking distance, and active energy
from Apple Health, and uses motion and location while you record a walk. This data is
**processed entirely on your device**. It is never sent to us — we have no server to send
it to — and it is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.

Walk routes are recorded on your device and stay there.

## Where your data lives

Your corgi's data — your daily goal, streak, chosen coat, and walk history — is stored on
your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, mirrored to **your own private iCloud database**, which
only your Apple ID can access. We cannot read it. Deleting the app's data in Settings
removes it from both places.

## Analytics

Woofka uses [TelemetryDeck](https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy) to count anonymous usage
signals — for example, that a screen was opened — so we can tell which parts of the app
matter. These signals are anonymised, contain **no health, location, or personal data**,
and cannot be tied to you. TelemetryDeck stores its data in the EU and is GDPR-compliant.

## Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your
payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs the transaction.
